Do you need a quick and easy overview of all Bernafon products? Would you like to compare different product families or price categories? Is counseling your clients in a helpful way important to you? If you have answered yes to any of these questions, you will be pleased to know that we have a brand new digital tool for you available on our website: the Product Tool.

Here are 5 ways in which the Product Tool will help you.

  1. Have an overview of the Bernafon product portfolio overview at your fingertips
  2. See benefits in different price categories and product families
  3. Compare products e.g. Zerena 9 compared to Juna 9
  4. Show your clients how the different instrument styles could look worn by them
  5. Access the Product Information directly from the Product Tool (if you are logged into your professional account)

There are even more possibilities with the Product Tool. But let’s have a look at these 5 ways to use it and why you should use it.

1. Bernafon product portfolio overview

First you can select the product family (e.g. Zerena). All existing styles for this family and price categories are displayed. You can easily filter by instrument type such as behind-the-ear (BTE), in-the-ear (ITE), or receiver-in-the-ear (RITE). On switching from one style to another, you have a short description about the style and what it can do. You can also see the available colors in the chosen family and price category.

2. See benefits in different price categories and families

With the lists of benefits, you can show your client the difference between price categories or the difference between newer and older families. To have a better overview of the benefits, we use a grid of 6 benefits, each with a value from 1 to 5 squares/points. The benefits listed are sound perception, speech understanding, comfort, use and handling, personalization, and connectivity. Depending on client needs and preferences, you can find and propose the most appropriate products from the Bernafon product portfolio.

3. Compare Tool

With the Bernafon Compare Tool, you can compare two different products in different families, price categories, and styles. The Compare Tool is accessible via the Product Tool on a family level or from the style level. Depending on where you come from in the Product Tool, the first product to compare with is preselected. You can see the available colors, benefits, and feature list. Select a new style in the dropdown menu and easily compare it to other products.

4. Show your client how the different instrument styles could look on them

With the Product Tool, you can see what the different hearing instruments look like when being worn. For each style, there is a female or male model available to see how it would look on or in the ear. With a slider, you can see their head spin around in 360° degrees. This helps your client to understand the different styles even better.

5. Direct access to the Product Information

The Product Tool is meant to give you an overview, rather than indepth information. But we added a link to the Product Information in the Library so that you can quickly and easily access detailed information. If you are already logged in, it will directly open the Product Information PDF file.

For those of you who don’t have a login, there are two possibilities. If you know there is a local Bernafon website in your local language, go there to request a login. If not, click here.

The Product Tool is available at the moment in English only, but other language versions will follow soon. It will also be available, with the integrated Compare Tool, as Windows desktop version. So, you can use it offline if needed as well.
